- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg, at room temperature
- 2 cups cake flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2½ teaspoons baking powder
- ¾ cup milk (2% or higher)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
